COVID-19 Update - 23/04/20

As we navigate the unprecedented situation the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has presented us with, Ubico continues to provide key frontline services to our community which are vital for public health.

The safety of our employees, contractors and customers remains our number one priority and we are continuing to closely follow the advice of Public Health England and the UK Government. We are also working closely with our trade unions, GMB and Unison, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees remains a top priority.

Ubico achieves recertification to ISO 14001 standard in Environmental Management

We are pleased to announce that we have officially achieved recertification of the internationally recognized ISO 14001 standard in Environmental Management, following an audit from NQA, an external auditor, whose standards are recognised as being amongst the highest in their industry.

Ubico Compliance Function celebrates its first birthday!

Keeping our workforce and the communities we serve safe is our greatest priority. In 2019 we received the ISO45001 certification in Occupational Health and Safety and we also created an internal compliance function to ensure a robust monitoring system in health and safety, environmental, fleet and GDPR compliance was in place.

Ubico raises £405 in charity Christmas raffle

We are delighted to announce that our Christmas Charity Raffle took place this week and thanks to the generosity of our staff we raised an incredible £405. We have chosen to split the proceeds of our raffle equally between National Star, The Nelson Trust and the Forest of Dean Children's Opportunity Centre.

On Friday 5th July, we had a great day gardening in Gloucester with one of our charity partners, National Star. National Star enables young people with disabilities and acquired brain injuries to realise their potential through education and personalised learning opportunities, and by providing other transition and accommodation services.
