Environmental services company, Ubico Limited, is delighted to announce that Gloucester City Council will join the company as its eighth shareholder.
The move will enable Ubico, a local authority owned company, to take over the delivery of Gloucester City's waste and recycling collections, street cleansing and grounds maintenance from April 2022, once the contract with its current provider ends.

We are delighted to announce that the maintenance for Stratford Park, a 56 acre park located just outside the centre of Stroud, is now being managed by Ubico. As we navigate the unprecedented situation the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has presented us with, Ubico continues to provide key frontline services to our community which are vital for public health.
The safety of our employees, contractors and customers remains our number one priority and we are continuing to closely follow the advice of Public Health England and the UK Government. We are also working closely with our trade unions, GMB and Unison, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees remains a top priority.

We are pleased to announce that we have officially achieved recertification of the internationally recognized ISO 14001 standard in Environmental Management, following an audit from NQA, an external auditor, whose standards are recognised as being amongst the highest in their industry.

Keeping our workforce and the communities we serve safe is our greatest priority. In 2019 we received the ISO45001 certification in Occupational Health and Safety and we also created an internal compliance function to ensure a robust monitoring system in health and safety, environmental, fleet and GDPR compliance was in place.
