News > COVID-19 -Feedback and Compliments

In these challenging and unprecedented times we are immensely grateful to our frontline staff for their amazing efforts in keeping our communities clean and safe.

We have received some lovely feedback from residents and our local authority partners praising the hard work of our staff.

"Whilst writing, I would like to place on record my thanks, and those of the Council, for all of the work that the Ubico team continue to do in unprecedented times - it is very much appreciated and recognised."

"I have been asked by several residents to pass on their gratitude for the continued service delivered by the bin crews in Charlbury. I can only add my own thanks to that, and my best wishes to you and to all concerned."

"I just wanted you to know that the UBICO teams are doing a fantastic job in these difficult and troubled times. I was out doing some community support work at 7am this morning and met refuse lorries everywhere I went in Wotton under Edge! On behalf of our communities and me, please pass on our heartfelt thanks to all the teams for the continuing service they are providing."

"Your staff are amazing, and always in such good humour whatever the conditions and weather they are working under. The collections are so important for keeping the streets free of rubbish, the accumulation of which looks and is demoralising. But Ubico is out there making sure that community spirit is kept high, and for that we are immensely grateful. Their orange overalls and smart trucks are a colourful and welcome weekly addition to the streetscape, and reassuring for us to know that on their arrival all will be cleaned up before them."

"Would you thank the Ubico team for all their work in coming to collect rubbish, waste food, and recycling from Hanborough. Their collections are contributing enormously to maintaining morale in the community, and we enormously value the essential service they are providing. I dropped by one of our streets this afternoon to check how full the bins were, and the area is immaculate, which can only be the result of Ubico collecting extraneous rubbish, and sweeping up."

We also received some wonderful notes from some of the children who live in the communities we serve. It was lovely for our staff to receive these and certainly put a smile on their faces!
