As we navigate the unprecedented situation the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has presented us with, Ubico continues to provide key frontline services to our community which are vital for public health.
The safety of our employees, contractors and customers remains our number one priority and we are continuing to closely follow the advice of Public Health England and the UK Government. We are also working closely with our trade unions, GMB and Unison, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees remains a top priority.
We are immensely proud of our employees for their continued hard work and dedication amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Ubico staff, as key workers, are crucial to the health of our country. They have pulled together in these challenging times, providing a vital service to the community ensuring that public health remains a priority, and all with a smile on their face.
We have received lots of wonderful feedback from both residents and our shareholders and board members for which we are very grateful. We have included some below:
Bill McCarthy, Chair of the Ubico Board of Directors said the following:
"I would like to thank all the staff at Ubico for doing everything they can to maintain the delivery of key services in these unprecedented circumstances. The feedback we are receiving from our residents demonstrates how important our work is in the community, and each and every person at the company is playing a vital role in keeping those services running. I am so proud to be the Chair of this organisation and on behalf of the whole board can I express our thanks and sincere admiration for the dedication and fortitude each and every one of you are demonstrating every day in our commitment to continue to deliver the services our communities need. Well done and a big, big thank you."
We also received this feedback from one of our shareholders:
"Please pass on my thanks to everyone at Ubico - you are doing an excellent job and I am so pleased that in this national emergency you are receiving the recognition you all fully deserve."
We continue to receive great feedback from residents, and we received this compliment on the Facebook page of one of our shareholders:
"As far as I am concerned, you guys, along with our other awesome essential workers in the NHS, Postal service, Supermarket staff, Police, selfless volunteers, and anyone else out there, risking their health for us are the absolute bees knees. You are all essential to the fight to defeat this menace, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart."
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude to our all our staff, stakeholders and residents for their understanding and support in this unprecedented and challenging situation.
