We've just returned from a busy morning gardening at the James Hopkins Trust in Gloucester, our chosen charity of the year. The James Hopkins Trust is an entirely self-funded charity that provides nursing respite care to life limited and life threatened young children throughout Gloucestershire.
12 volunteers from Ubico put on their gardening gear and spent the morning de-weeding, jet washing, sweeping play areas and collecting debris from the charity's garden. The gardening mornings are excellent team building opportunity for Ubico staff, whilst at the same time giving much needed help to this incredibly worthy charity.
We also had the pleasure of presenting the charity with a cheque for £605.00, the proceeds from our recent internal raffle.
